Paintings 2018–2019
“Fight or flight” our survival instinct. From darkness to lightness. The climb to the light, the struggle and the choices needed to ensure survival at the top. The plight of the Pohutukawa tree — the choice between destruction and survival. Changes are occurring within our environment. Endangered and vulnerable species are being threatened by human and animal interference. Are these to be irreversible?
It is a fragile crossroad.
